Dr. David Katz
MD, MPH, FACPM, FACP
It would be hard to find any physician with comparable education (Dartmouth and Yale School of Medicine), who is more respected in his field of medicine and who has written more books (8 medical books, including mostly text books as well as ones of general public interest), than Dr. David Katz. He co-founded and directs Yale's prestigious Prevention Research Center, a CDC-funded clinical research facility devoted to chronic disease prevention, where he has acquired and managed approximately $15 million in research funds. He is one of the most sought after speakers on the lecture circuit, doing some 30+ speeches a year, both nationally and internationally. If he accepted all the invitations he receives, he'd be doing many speeches a week. He is a print journalist for the NY Times Syndicate and for Oprah's "O" magazine. But most importantly, Dr. Katz is, television-wise, a handsome, experienced medical expert on both local and network television. He is currently a medical contributor for ABC News, appearing on "Good Morning America," "20/20," and "World News Tonight." Not only management, but the EPs of these programs recognize his genius in medicine and his extraordinary on-air skills.
